Casa del Mundo or ‘House of the World’ would like to welcome you to our Mexican themed suite. Come and experience a touch of Mexico here in North Vancouver.
This suite is perfect for a romantic getaway, being equipped with a king size hanging bed inspired by similar versions seen in the Mayan Riviera and a wood burning Mexican style fireplace.
This suite has a well equipped kitchenette complete with all major appliances, microwave oven, large raised tiled counter with hand painted Mexican tile inlays, tall Mexican stools and all the necessary cook and dining ware.
The private entrance to the Mexican suite is via its own patio area and the kitchen, with its view through the towering Cedars of Lynn Headwaters Regional Park to Seymour Mountain beyond. Relax in the morning sun and listen to the soothing sounds of Lynn Creek below and the birds in the trees.
The bathroom has a large, well lit shower with one wall of glass blocks and a view of the forest. The vanity has an authentic Mexican sink which we carefully carried back with us on our last visit to Mexico and has hand painted tiles, above which is a large wooden framed mirror.
The floor of the suite is tiled with terracotta tiles with hand painted Mexican tile inlays imported from Guadalajara, Mexico and an array of hand woven rugs.
The Lynn Headwaters, Lower Seymour and Lynn Canyon Regional parks offer miles of hiking and biking trails amongst winding creeks, mossy rocks, waterfalls and deep valleys. While at the same time the suite is only 15 minutes to all the bustling action of downtown.
