Looking for a roommate to fill the sunny, open room in our 1st floor beautiful Victorian home in Andrew Square area of Southie. It is a great apt, 2 minutes walking to the Red Line and all necessary stores and amenities. The beach is a block away and I-90 & I-93 are a 2 minute drive. We are looking for a considerate, laid back, good natured person to fill the room. We have done a lot of work around the house. The bedroom is freshly painted (this past weekend) and we just bought new couches, curtains & decorations. The stove and fridge are also brand new. Free washer & dryer on site. The open room is big ( 12 x 12.5), with a very large closet and 2 windows overlooking the back yard and porch. It is in the back portion of the apt so it is quiet and away from the street.
We would love to find a roommate interested in making this apt a comfortable home. Kindness and consideration for others a must. No drugs. We are infrequent social drinkers only. We might have a couple get-togethers a year with friends from out of town but aside from that, things are pretty mellow. We all work hard during the day (3 of us total- ages 26-30) so the nights are pretty laid back. We have no preference on gender, sexual orientation or race- as long as you fit the kind, considerate, responsible part, we are cool with it.
Please email with questions/interest. The room is open right away but must be filled by March 1st at the latest. Rent is $500/mo. Last month also required upon move-in. Utilities separate.
