I currently live in a medium-sized apartment building on the edge of Penn's and USIP's campuses. It's a nice sized 1BR apartment, separate kitchen, and bedroom. Hardwood floors throughout and high ceilings. Hot water included in rent. I am moving out of the city, and looking to find someone who will start a new lease with the landlord.
The 34 trolley stops right in the front of the building, and the building is easily accessible to Penn's and USIP's campuses, a few blocks from Clark Park and the Green Line Cafe, as well as the shops and restaurants on 40th Street. Most in the building are grad or med/vet students, and there is a laundry room in the basement, as well as a parking lot you can rent a space in (separate cost). Many closets and wall space for a long desk. This is a second-floor apartment with west-facing windows, but there is an elevator at the top of the entry stairs in case you have something heavy you are carrying.
The leasing company is great, and responds quickly to issues. The office is also across the street.
