Description

I am renting a studio apartment located inside a very exclusive and quiet co-op estate. Currently there are two of us living in this apartment and it has been more than enough room for us over the last 2 years. Unfortunately we have to move due to work demands but really wish we could stay. This building has a doorman as well as a security gate on duty 24/7 in a very safe neighborhood. You can't find as much closet space anywhere else in a very well kept and cozy apartment. This apartment features a private balcony and direct access to laundry in the basement. Take a look at the pictures, though they don't do the apartment any justice. There is a fresh coat of paint in the apartment with the back wall being a darker shade of a gray/brown. It is very modern and really makes the apartment feel warm and inviting. We are two blocks away from MetFoods, CVS, several restaurants, Sears, Marshalls, Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy, and a coffee/bagel shop. From the apartment to the 63rd Drive stop of the r/v you only have to walk 5 blocks (probably less than that). You can also walk to the Queens Center Mall and Target in under 15 minutes. If you don't know the neighborhood they are finishing construction a block away from the apartment on a brand new shopping area. It is scheduled to have a Costco, Century 21, Kohls, and many other stores. Needless to say anything you need you will find here. Every major bank and two post office's are within walking distance as well This is a co-op building so you will need to put in an application with the board prior to moving in (very similar to a traditional application process for any lease) The upside to being in the co-op building is the safety and exclusiveness as not just anyone can live here. I thought it was a bit of a pain at first but being in a neighborhood that is so safe really makes me look at it so much differently. I am never scared to walk home from the train no matter what time of night it is. Rent is $1100 and we are asking for first month, last month, and a half a month refundable security deposit (as long as apartment is in good condition) making the total cost for move in $2,750. In regards to the length of the lease we are very flexible but would like someone who would stay for at least 6 months.

If you would like to view additional pictures of the closet, bathroom, or balcony please email me as I do have them but I can only post 4 photos to craigslist. I am very open for showing the apartment after regular business hours and weekends as I work in Manhattan Monday through Friday.
